Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Gardiner, Maine. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City of Gardiner is requesting financial assistance under the Community Development Block Grant Downtown Revitalization Program for a project known as The Arcade Parking Lot Improvement Project. If implemented, the proposal will construct critical site improvements, including pavement, curbing, sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, and stormwater management in the 2.35 acre municipal parking lot adjacent to Arcade Street (Map 37, Lot 106). The purpose of this notice is to inform the public that the proposed project is in a floodplain. The City of Gardiner is conducting a floodplain impact evaluation to determine if there is a practicable alternative to this proposed development by considering alternative actions and potential mitigation to minimize impacts, and preservation of the site. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
