Renovation of a municipal facility in Houlton, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Town of Houlton requests bids for the removal of existing 6,000 gallon, below ground, split fuel tank. Installation of a 6000 gallon above ground fuel storage split tank. Split 2,000/4,000 gallons, with fuel management system/ gasoline and diesel dispensing systems. Submit bids in a sealed envelope, plainly marked on the outside "Bid: Fuel Depot," and addressed to the Town Manager. if you have any questions or to request a bid form. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities of defects in the bids, or to accept a higher cost bid if such action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Houlton. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment for the removal of existing tank, along with the installation of a new above ground storage tank, located at the Houlton Public Works site. The bid proposal must include the purchase, delivery and installation of all necessary equipment to install 2 (two) tank mounted fuel pumps/dispensers and the installation of the fuel island terminal. All necessary site work shall be the responsibility of the Contractor, including a concrete pad for tank and hardware.
