Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lewiston, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work for the 2023 UTILITY TRENCH RESTORATION shall consist of, but not be limited to, furnishing and installing (except as noted) all materials labor and equipment necessary to resurface or rehabilitate streets or roads as listed, including water gate box lowering and raising, tack coat, driveway preparation and driveway restoration; pavement removal, common excavation, aggregate base gravel; and traffic control and cleanup. Questions and Requests for Information shall be submitted to Justin Bisson (jbisson@lewistonmaine.gov) on or before noon, March 28, 2023. Questions and RFIs will be responded to via email to potential bidders on the Plan Holders List and those registered with the City Purchasing Department for this project. All work must be completed by November 15, 2023, or unless otherwise stated in the contract. The City reserves the right to negotiate with the low bidder to bring projects down to within budget. The Finance Committee reserves the right to waive any formality and may consider as informal any Proposal not prepared and submitted in accordance with these provisions. The Finance Committee reserves the right to accept any Proposal or reject any or all Proposals if it is deemed to be in the public interest to do so.
