The Town of Sullivan is seeking proposals for brush and tree clearing from approximately 3.41 miles of local roads. Brush is to be cut not more than 8 inches above ground level and removed, leaving a 6-foot shoulder from the edge of the pavement. Trees will be cleared vertically 15 feet from the road surface. Proposers should deliver one sealed copy of their bid, including technical and pricing information. Specifications may be obtained by contacting the Road Commissioner. The successful bidder must provide proof of Workman’s Compensation and General Liability Insurance of at least $400,000. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the exterior, "Brush Clearing" attention Town Manager. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.
