The selectmen of the Town of Sullivan call for scaled bids for snow removal, sanding and salting of approximately 24 miles of State Aid and Town Roads, school bus turnarounds, transfer station road and yard, salt/sand shed road and yard. Please submit bids for a one year contract and a three year contract. The bidder is to provide all necessary equipment for plow- ing and sanding; at least two (2) trucks with plows, wings and sanders and one (1) back up truck as well as a bucket loader to load salt/sand. Equipment shall remain in town from November 1st to May 1st each plowing season. The contractor will check roads for slush and drifts following storms and provide phone numbers to reach someone if needed. Successful bidder must provide proof of Workman's Compensation and General Liability Insurance of at least $400,000. The Selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
