**As of April 19, 2024, the apparent low bidder is Jordan Excavation of Kingfield, ME with a bid of $387,850.00. The project includes, but is not limited to, the reconstruction of two hangar taxilanes with associated drainage improvements on airport property, within the Town of Norridgewock, Maine. All work will be performed on Airport-owned property. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Forms. Bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total Bid amount must be submitted with each Bid. The Bid security may be either a certified check drawn upon a bank within the State of Maine or a Proposal Guarantee Bond (Bid Bond) executed by a Surety company listed on the current United States Department of Treasury "Department of the Treasury's listing of approved Sureties (Department Circular 570)" as authorized to do business in the State of Maine. Bid Security shall be made payable to the Town of Norridgewock. Bids submitted without acceptable security will not be considered. Bidders must comply with 49 CFR Part 26 to afford opportunities to DBEs and small businesses to work with them on federally funded projects. The Contract time for completion is forty-five (45) calendar days.
