Three (3) year contracts with optional two (2) one-year extensions upon mutual agreement for the removal of snow and ice from approximately 44.1 miles of town roads and municipal facilities. Five (5) total contract routes are available for bid: Contract A: Small Point - 10.5 miles Contract B: Winnegance to Fire Station - 15.3 miles Contract C: Parker Head and Popham - 9.8 miles Contract D: West Point and Sebasco - 8.5 miles Contract E: Municipal Facilities - Town Hall, Fire Station, Transfer Station - Flat Rate Contracts are designated by individual routes the description of which can be found within the bid package. Contractors are welcome to bid on any or all of the individual route contracts. Please clarify in Bid which route designation(s) you wish to be included in during the bidding process. Bid selection will be determined by per mile cost and/or overall cost depending on the construction of the bid. Bidders, before submitting an offer, should become completely familiar with the required work, contract details, and calculations for bid purposes. A Municipal Representative is available to clarify specific questions pertaining to routes. Contracts are subject to Town Meeting approval on June 14, 2023. Contract funding will be available July 1, 2023. First year contract length shall be October 15, 2023-Octover 14, 2024. The Town may accept or reject any and all bids.
