PROJECT NAME: Spring Street Parking Garage Overhead Repairs LOCATION: 45 Spring Street, Portland, Maine. OUTLINE OF WORK: Briefly and without force and effect upon the contract documents, the work of the contract can be summarized as follows: furnishing all the labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform overhead repairs. The work includes the knocking down and repairing overhead concrete spalls, including all preparation and application and clean up per the specifications and manufacturers recommendations. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to ensure that their bid is submitted prior to the date and time specified. Late bids shall not be accepted. In the event of inclement weather, if Portland Schools and/or City operations have been cancelled, any scheduled pre-bid meetings will be cancelled as well. Please check the local media outlets, the City of Portland Public Schools website and/or call the City's Purchasing Office, 207-874-8654 regarding any postponement. NOTE: Every effort will be made to provide as much forewarning as possible regarding these decisions. The work shall be as detailed in the attached pages of specifications, and shall be conducted under the direction of the City Parking Manager, or designee. It is the City's desire that the work may commence upon receipt of executed contracts and shall be completed no later than June 21, 2023.
