Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a mixed-use development in Portland, Maine. Completed plans call for the demolition of a swimming pool; for site work for a swimming pool; and for asbestos abatement for a swimming pool.

The Work involves the construction of a new Aquatic Facility at location indicated on Drawings. Work includes but is not limited to, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping and irrigation. Work also includes management and handling of contaminated soils, lead-based paint, and PCB-containing materials in the building, pool and deck. Work also includes swimming pools, waterslides and shade structure. Work also includes concrete foundations and slab-on-grade, steel structure, and decking, EPDM roofing, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, ceramic tile, custom cabinets and fixtures, carpentry, glass storefront system, painting, metal doors, metal frames, door hardware, overhead coiling doors, toilet and shower partitions and accessories, signage, wire partitions, fire protection and detection systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning, pool pumps strainers and filters, complete and ready for use. Mandatory pre-bid walkthrough 2:00 PM; Tuesday, June 11, 2024. 3. Technical questions concerning the bid must be submitted in writing no later than 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024. 4. Bid due date for the Work will be 3:30 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2024. 5. The project shall be 100% complete by July 1, 2025.
