The work involves the construction of a new 36,549 GSF Fire & EMS Station, with an alternate bid option for an additional 2,252 GSF Apparatus Bay. The project requires removal of existing building structures and utilities, excavation and preparation for a new building pad, installation of below and above grade site utilities, construction of parking lot, sidewalks, driveway, generator pad, dumpster area, and other work as specified in the contract documents. The building includes multiple functional spaces such as vestibules, waiting area, offices, conference space, training rooms, storage rooms, kitchenette, restrooms, janitor's closets, mechanical and electrical rooms, IT room, bunkrooms, bathrooms, decontamination showers, laundry, fitness area, dining, kitchen, living area, apparatus bays, wash bay, vehicle bays, decontamination area, turnout gear, SCBA area, EMS secure storage, watch room, stair tower, yard storage, work room, mezzanine, and additional areas as indicated by the contract documents. Proposals must be sealed and properly marked, submitted either in hard copy or as a signed PDF with subject line identifying the project, and a follow-up hard copy provided if submitted digitally.
