Site work for a water / sewer project in Searsport, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project consists of replacing 4,500 l.f. of water main in-place on local roads in Searsport including Water Street, Navy Street, Elm Street, Leach Street, Park Street and part of Howard Street. In Stockton Springs, 2,700 l.f. of water mains will be replaced on the north eastern end of the looped Cape Jellison Road. New water mains shall be 8 dia. ductile iron. All individual water services will be replaced to the edge of the right-of-way. The project will also include new gate valves and hydrants All work shall be substantially completed within 180 calendar days of Notice to Proceed and ready for final payment within 210 calendar days for substantial completion. The goals for this PROJECT are a minimum of 0.64% certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and a minimum of 1.64% certified Womens Business Enterprise (WBE) participation.
