Site work and renovation of a civil project in Searsport, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Searsport (Owner) will receive separate sealed Bids for upgrades to an existing wastewater treatment facility and associated wastewater pump stations. The Work includes but is not limited to new tanks and buildings, modifications to existing buildings, site work, plumbing and HVAC, electrical and controls, and all materials, equipment, services, and construction inherent to the Work. The Project is financed in part by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Utilities Service (RUS), and will be administered through the USDA Rural Development (RD) office (or "Agency") pursuant to the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 USC Section 1921 et seq). Compliance with Agency requirements and Federal requirements is required, including but not limited to American Iron and Steel requirements as mandated by Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preferences.
