Site work and paving for a road / highway in South Paris, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of March 14, 2025 Project has not been awarded , Project will be awarded on March 18, 2025 Town Meeting. The Town of Paris will have one hundred twenty (120) calendar days within which to accept or reject any bid. The work contained in the Contract shall be completed on or before September 26, 2025. Liquidated damages in the amount of $250 per day are contained in the Contract. The Town of Paris reserves the right to adjust the quantities contained in the Bid Form as needed in order to stay within the project budget. Funding for this project is contingent upon voter approval at the Annual Town Meeting in June 2025. The Town of Paris reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Paris, not necessarily the lowest bid. The project involves full depth pavement reclamation, hot mix asphalt base, shim and surface paving, installing gravel shoulders, and other miscellaneous related items on Christian Ridge Road, Tremont Street, and Lincoln Street for the Town of Paris.
