A tank replacement including demolition of the existing storage facility, site work, and construction of a new 500,000-gallon prestressed wire wound concrete water storage tank adjacent to the existing tank. The project also includes an active tank mixer, new instrumentation and radio equipment, an extension of single-phase electrical service eliminating the existing solar powered radio system, and upgrades to the existing access road including a new gravel base and cross culvert. Engineer's Estimate: $1,400,000 The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids,including without limitation, nonconforming,nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids.Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor Bid informalities not involving price,time,or changes in the work. 1. Construction of: a. New 500,000-gallon wire-wound precast concrete storage tank; b. Piping, site work, equipment systems, structures, instrumentation, control and electrical systems, as indicated on the Drawings; c. Other appurtenances as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. 2. Demolition of: a. Existing 500,000-gallon Hooper Ledge buried cast-in-place concrete tank. b. Other existing structures shown on the plan c. Piping and conduit, as indicated on the Drawings; 3. Remove and/or relocate equipment as indicated on the Drawings and as described below but not limited to: a. Existing RTU Control Panel b. Existing wood utility pole to be relocated with radio antenna 4. The Owner will furnish the SCADA programming scope for the existing tank site RTU and Master RTU at the District's office. The Work will be substantially complete on or before November 30, 2022, General Conditions on or before December 31, 2022
