Redevelopment and adaptive reuse of the former Mahoney Middle School site, including historic rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and public-private partnership development. The City is seeking a P3 arrangement that advances the following objectives and goals: Fostering a collaborative partnership between the City and selected Development Partner based on trust, transparency, and commitment to project success. o Jointly developing a redevelopment proposal that maximizes long-term public benefits and delivers all or most of the City's vision for the property. o Preserving and rehabilitating a landmark public building in the community. o Achieving an affordable financing plan for redevelopment by leveraging alternativefinancial tools and incentives not typically available to public projects. Leveraging private-sector experience with historic preservation and adaptive reuse to help the City maximize value through ongoing cost-benefit analysis. Engaging with the community to solicit meaningful feedback and refine redevelopment alternatives that maximize public utility and services.
