Removal and replacement of specified doors, including frames, sills, and associated hardware with new units. Work will take place at: USCG South Portland ANT, 259 High St., South Portland, ME 04106. Contractors may require a government employee escort while working in designated secure areas of the facility. The Contractor shall coordinate with the COR daily to ensure proper access and minimize disturbances to the routine of USCG operations. The Contractor shall safely remove specified doors, including frames, sills , and associated hardware, and install new "like-and- kind" units to enhance the facility's weather resistance, security, and energy efficiency. The contractor will be responsible for the proper disposal of all debris and removed materials off-site. Specific Performance Requirements: Interior Doors: Turnkey replacement of ten ( 10) single interior doors and one (1 ) double interior door. Exterior Doors: Turnkey replacement of eight (8) single exterior doors and two (2) double exterior doors. Exterior openings must achieve a complete and watertight seal. Replace door frames where needed due to their current conditional state. Hardware: Install commercial-grade hardware, including a BEST key lock system with a 7-pin core, and pin code manual locks with mechanical keypads on designated doors. Safety Compliance: All new doors must meet applicable fire ratings with the rating tags clearly adhered to the door. All work shall take place within 30 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
