U.S. Route 1A, beginning at the intersection of State Route 229 in Limestone (MP 110.26) and extending in a Northerly direction to U.S. Route I in Van Buren (MP 130.61) and Boundaryline Road in Hamlin beginning at the intersection of U.S. Route 1A (MP 0.92) and extending Easterly to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection property (MP 0.20) for a total distance of 21.07 centerline miles (42.14 Lane Miles). Outline of Work: Snow plowing and Ice control The initial term of this contract is for three (3) years, beginning October 15, 2025 and ending May 1, 2028. The contract term may be extended on an annual basis for up to five (5) additional years upon mutual agreement between MaineDOT and the contractor. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department. The right is hereby reserved to the MaineDOT to reject any or all bids.
