Location: In the towns of Vassalboro, Winslow and China in Kennebec County U.S. Route 201 in Vassalboro, beginning at the Augusta town line (RLM 36.68) and extending in a northerly direction to the Taylor Road in Winslow (RLM 45.92) for a total distance of 9.24 centerline miles (18.48 Lane Miles). Route 137 in Winslow, beginning at the intersection of Route 137B (RLM 29.76) and extending in a southeasterly direction to the intersection of Route 9/202 in China (RLM 35.92), for a total distance of 6.16 centerline miles (12.52 Lane Miles). U.S. Route 202 in China, beginning at the intersection of Route 137 (RLM 123.66) and extending in a southerly direction to the intersection of Route 3 in China (RLM 116.55), for a total distance of 7.11 centerline miles (14.31 Lane Miles). Total contract mileage is 22.51 centerline miles (45.31 Lane Miles). Outline of Work: Snow plowing and ice control The initial term of this contract is for three (3) years, beginning October 15, 2023 and ending May 1, 2026. The contract term may be extended on an annual basis for up to five (5) additional years upon mutual agreement between MaineDOT and the contractor.
