Work under this contract is generally described as the replacement of a failing culvert with a new 4-sided precast concrete box culvert and the development of a natural stream bottom channel. Work includes stream diversion and bypass pumping, installation of new culvert, construction of stream bed through culvert, roadway reconstruction, rip-rap, paving, etc. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Town of Washington (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Calderwood Road Stream Crossing Project The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a 21' span 4-sided precast concrete box culvert on Calderwood Road. The Project has an expected duration of 45 days or less for final completion. Contract Time will not commence to run until materials can be obtained. Construction is expected to occur between July 15 and October 1, 2025.
