Snow clearing and salting of Town sidewalks and crosswalks for the winter season. Duration: November 1, 2023, to April 30, 2024. Responsibilities: 1. To be available and ready to work when called. 2. Coordinate with Wells Public Works any changes that may be needed. 3. Provide the necessary equipment and manpower for snow removal and salting. 4. Ensures consistent monitoring and clearing during and post-snowfall Sidewalks: 1. Post Road Northside of the sidewalk - from post office to mile road. 2. Post Road southside of sidewalk- from RT109 to the Library. Small piece in front of (Dunkin Donuts). Then from Walgreens to Falls Park Road. 3. RT109/ Sanford Road - From Wells Elementary School to Post Road on one side. 4. Mile Road - From Post Road to pump station on one side. 5. Harbor Road - From Post Road to the first entrance of the harbor Park Parking lot. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bid received and to accept the proposal deemed to be most favorable to the best interest of the Town.
