The work consists of milling and paving approximately 7,000 linear feet of Saco Street, full width from Spiller Drive to the William Clarke Drive, including sidewalk improvements along the length of the project.work shall consist of constructing one or more courses of Hot Mix Asphaltm pavement on an approved base work shall consist of preparing and repairing areas identified for crack repair in existing bituminous or concrete pavement layers using hot pour mastic. The hot pour mastic shall be supplied in solid form in boxes containing pre-measured binder blended with aggregates. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. To be considered a responsive bidder, contractors must obtain at least one set of bidding documents from the issuing office using the name that is to appear on the bid form. All questions must be directed in writing to the specified contact at least three business days before the bid opening date. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid deemed to be in the City's best interest. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Completion-October 31st, 2026
