Site work for a water / sewer project in Wiscasset, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work under this project includes, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for the upgrade of the Town of Wiscasset's Pump Station No. 3 and Pump Station No. 4 and electrical upgrade of the Town of Wiscasset's Pump Stations No. 13, 14, and 16 including general conditions and mobilization, temporary construction facilities, temporary by-pass pumping, demolition and site clearing, earthwork, backfill, aggregates, compaction; site restoration, loam and seed, cast-in-place concrete, metals fabrication, painting, packaged submersible pump stations and controls, sewer and drain piping, precast structures; process piping, fittings and valves, pipe hangars and supports; electrical distribution equipment, electrical wiring, conduit, controls, alarm and instrumentation systems and all incidentals as required for the complete and full upgrade of all pump stations as specified and shown on the Drawings. The project must be substantially completed within 300 consecutive calendar days and complete within 330 calendar days after the execution of Notice to Proceed. All questions during bidding should be directed to Olver Associates Inc. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated therein. The successful Bidder will be required to provide both a Performance and a Payment Bond, each representing 100% of the contract value, at the time of contract execution. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid that it deems to be in its best interests, and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
