The work of this contract includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to perform replacement of the existing Ocean Avenue Extension Seawall, including, but not limited to, mobilization and demobilization of equipment and materials; develop and provide a storm contingency plan; install and maintain temporary measures to protect existing site features to remain in place during the work; install and maintain temporary pedestrian and vehicular traffic barriers; install temporary erosion and sedimentation controls; demolish, remove, store, dispose of existing stone masonry seawall and stair structures or salvage suitable wall stones for reuse; remove and dispose of existing deleterious and unsuitable excavated materials; reconstruction of approximately 344 linear feet of stone masonry seawall with reinforced cast-in-place concrete footings; reconstruction of stone masonry access stairs; replacement of new metal pipe railings/guardrails; complete incidental site work; complete site, laydown areas, and Contractor's access location restoration and demobilization.
