Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Sanford, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; bridge / tunnel; bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

Edifice LLC isthe Construction Manager for the Sanford City Hall Annex. Edifice is currently seeking to pre-qualify contractors for subcontractor trade packages. The project includes out-of-ground construction of a new Annex building as well as parking lot expansion, restroom outbuilding, and site amenities including a splash pad. There will be demo and rework of the existing City Hall building to connect a walkway bridge between the two buildings. This project will not be phased and construction will be completed under one permit. Contractors are invited to pre-qualify for the formal and informal trade packages (but not limited to): Final Clean, Demolition, Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel, Millwork and Casework, Waterproofing and Sealants, Spray Fireproofing, Expansion Joints, Membrane Roofing, Metal Panels, Doors and Hardware, Glass and Glazing, Drywall, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring, Tile, Painting, Terrazzo, Signage, Specialties, Appliances, Window Treatments, Elevators, Splash Pad, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Sitework, Fencing, & Landscaping. Further information may be required in addition to this pre-qualification statement based on your response. These items may include additional financial statements, proof of applicable licenses, certification status, safety program/policy, drug and alcohol program/policy, additional project experience, and or certificates of insurance. Completing this statement does not guarantee pre-qualification. All pre-qualified bidders are required to seek Minority, Women, Small Business Enterprises (MWSBE) participation. The minimum goal for this project is 10% participation. Bidders must be properly licensed under all state laws, regulations, and ordinances governing the respective trades and work to be performed. The General Statutes of the State of North Carolina applicable to license requirements,submission of bids, and award of public contracts shall be observed in the receiving of bids and awarding of contracts for the work. The CM and Owner reserve the right to reject any or all pre-qualifications. A written appeal may be filed with Edifice within three business days of receipt of notice that the firm has been denied prequalification.
