Renovation of an educational facility in Reisterstown, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
PSCP # L03F030Y24 CIP Location- GlyndonElementary School - 445 Glyndon Drive, Reistertown, MD 21136 The specifications that follow are being offered to qualify and select a contractor to provide the services specified herein at Glyndon Elementary School Open Space Improvements & Mechanical Systemic for Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS). The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, demolition, abatement, site, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and all other related work specified herein. The project consists of enclosing open plan space within the existing footprint of the building to create enclosed classrooms, New single-use toilet rooms will be provided for new Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms. The existing toilet rooms will be modified to make them fully accessible. The project also includes a building-wide replacement of the HVAC system, upgrades to the existing fire sprinkler system, building-wide suspended ceiling grid & ceiling tile replacement, and roof demolition & roof construction/patching for new rooftop mechanical equipment. Add Alternate No. 1 - Provide new doors and new door hardware to create a secure vestibule at main building entrance and reception. The tentative date for notice to proceed is July 2025. The work shall be completed by August 20,2027 MBE goal of 27 percent established for this project.
