The County is seeking a Contractor to install plumbing at the St Charles County Klondike Park Maintenance Office Building. All executed work must meet the following specifications: The Contractor will be provided a PDF of drawings to bid from. Drawings will have County recommendations for locations, but local codes as well as will dictate actual location. Plans to be designed to St Charles County Code as well as Augusta Fire Code. All copper piping to be joined using lead-free solder, pro-press and shark-bite style fittings are not permitted. The Contractor shall provide and install metal flashing for all PVC pipe penetrations per fire code. The Contractor shall provide and install Bradford White Aerotherm series Heat Pump Model RE2H50R10B water heater, or equivalent replacement, with a 3/4 ball valve in the cold and hot water lines. Pressure and temperature valve to run to floor per code. Contractor to install thermal expansion tank sized appropriately for building. Thermal expansion tank shall have shut off valve installed for future replacement. Electrical The Contractor shall connect to the original 1 Black PVC line that was disconnected from the double wide office space and bury said water line 36 in depth. All water supply lines shall be copper pipe and shut off or stop valves installed shall be 1/4 turn ball valves. Bid Bond- A 5% deposit of the bid total, presented in the form of a cash Performance Bond- A 100% Performance and Payment Bond in favor of the Owner. The Security Co. representing Contractor must be authorized to do business in the State of Missouri and be approved by Owner. Performance and Payment bond will be required if project is $50,000.00 or greater Work to be completed within 90 days. All questions must be received no later than 2:00 PM on 6/13/2025.
