Site work, remodeling and addition to a medical facility in La Malbaie, Quebec. Design plans call for the addition of a 136,059-square-foot, six-story above grade medical facility; for the remodel of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Expansion of the hospital (Project # 524791): Wings B and C will be demolished, and a new building attached to the existing one will be built to house an emergency room, operating room, care units, outpatient clinic, medical device reprocessing unit, pharmacy, respiratory physiology unit, endoscopy unit, medical biology laboratory. The Wing A will house logistical support: some ambulatory services, administrative premises, support rooms, facility maintenance rooms. TIMELINE: Contract for consulting services to conduct an archaeological investigation has been awarded to Truelle et Cie Inc following request for proposals for consulting services # 44543301 / reference # 20066334. Design is ongoing. Tender for general contractor and construction timelines will be finalized at a later date. Further update in late 2025/early 2026.
