Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in North York, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for the construction of a 104,000-square-foot, two-story above grade transportation facility; and for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.

Construction of approximately 11.2 km light rail transit (LRT) that will run in a semi-exclusive lane along Finch Ave West between Keele St. and Hwy. 27, with an underground interchange at the Finch West station (connecting to the TTC Line 1 Yonge-University subway) and a below-grade stop at Humber College The project consists of a below-grade terminal stop next to Humber College, 18 public transit stations, an underground interchange at Keele Street that connect with the new Finch West Subway Station on the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, and renewal of aging infrastructure such as the Hwy. 400 overpass at Finch Avenue West. This will be a "Rapid Bridge Replacement" with the majority of the new bridge construction to take place beside the Hwy. and not in the road. TIMELINE: A joint venture of ACS Infrastructure and AECON that has a DBFM (design, build, finance, maintain) contract. Site plan approvals for the Maintenance and Storage Facility and the Finch West Station have been submitted to Toronto City Council. Track installation started in 2020 and will continue at the Maintenance and Storage Facility (MSF), and start up along the Finch West guideway. Installation of the overhead catenary system (OCS) poles, that will one day power the LRT line, will also continue through 2021, project completion anticipated fall 2023. The proposed LRT line is to be operational in the second half of 2023. *The value listed represents the project contract value.
