Site work and renovation of a civil project in Mercer Island, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to install gravity and inverted siphon sewer conveyance piping (including underwater and horizontal directional drilling installation), sewer force main piping, sliplining, and cured-in-place piping for gravity sewer rehabilitation, along with maintenance hole rehabilitation, associated sewage diversion/flow-splitting structures and odor control facilities, all for the purpose of conveying waste water from the North Mercer Pump Station on Mercer Island to the Sweyolocken Pump Station in Bellevue. This contract is one of two contracts for the North Mercer Island and Enatai Sewer Upgrade Project. The project is separated into two construction contracts, package A for the work at King County's North Mercer Pump Station and the City of Mercer Island's LS 11 work and package B for the conveyance work that is part of this contract.. Engineers Estimate: $52,417,000.00 Apprenticeship Requirements: 15% minimum Apprentice Utilization Requirement. Voluntary Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Goal: 10% of the Contract Price Voluntary Women Business Enterprise (WBE) Goal: 4% of the Contract Price.
