As of May 17, 2022, project was awarded to Insta-Pipe Inc, awarded amount is $107,984.98. Storm water culverts degrade over time. Defects include separated joints, cracks and root intrusion identified utilizing CCTV inspections near 6000 EMW, 6230 EMW, 6421 EMW, 7008 EMW, 7444 EMW, 7928 EMW and 3535 WMW. A culvert pipe failure at any of the identified locations would pose a structural risk to the arterial roadway and underground utilities. This project includes approximately 540 linear feet of replacement pipe using trenchless installation methods to minimize excavation impacts while preserving stormwater conveyance and roadway integrity. Replace seven roadway stormwater culvert crossings using trenchless methods such as slip-lining or pipe bursting.
