This reconstruction project will replace the structures carrying NYS Route 41 over Cornell Creek and Wilkins Brook, in the Towns of Afton and Coventry, Chenango County. Counties Chenango Towns Afton Town Coventry Town Mark the envelope 'Bid Enclosed'. Clearly identify the Company Name, Street Address, Federal Identification Number, Project Number and Project Description on the envelope. The same Federal Identification number must be used on the the envelope and the planholder list. A certified or cashier's check payable to the NYS Dept. of Transportation for the sum specified in the proposal or a bid bond, form CONR 391, representing 25% of the bid total, must accompany each bid. NYSDOT reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that all Amendments are incorporated into its bid. Amendments may have been issued prior to your placement on the Planholders list. NYS Finance Law restricts communication with NYSDOT on procurements and contact can only be made with designated persons. Contact with non-designated persons or other involved Agencies will be considered a serious matter and may result in disqualification. Project related technical questions or comments must be submitted through the Construction Contracting section of the NYSDOT Business Center on the NYSDOT website. Installation of a bridge with a clear span of 50 ft. with new abutments placed above OHW. 3. Discharge of 451 cubic yards of rock riprap below OHW along 153 ft. ofthe south abutment for scour protection. 4. Discharge of 487 cubic yards o frock riprap below OHW along 165 ft. ofthe north abutment for scour protection. 5. Permanent impact to 0.056 acre of Wetland A associated with minor channel alignment and construction access. 6. Temporary discharge associated with temporary waterway diversio
