Demolition and new construction of a civil project in Orillia, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a road / highway; and for the demolition of a road / highway.
Revitalization of downtown and waterfront cores of the city. Future projects will include the reconstruction and realignment of the Canice Street/Centennial Drive/Mississauga Street East corridor from Brant Street East to Front Street. Projects include major storm water management upgrades. TIMELINE: The Environmental Assessment and Design were completed in 2020. Tender and construction for alignment of Centennial Drive was issued early 2021 and is followed separately as part of the Reconstruction of Elgin Street from Front Street South to Cedar Island Road. Tender of the phase two was issued July 2022 and has been awarded. Construction began August 2022. Tender and construction for the realignment of Coldwater Drive is anticipated in 2023 and is followed separately.
