Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 60,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, four-story below grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Construction of a 4 level below ground complex. The PWC building, will include interconnections to the existing Visitors Centre complex phase 1, west block, CBUS (Centre Block Underground Services) ESAP & East Block. TIMELINE: Spring 2020, excavation commenced and as of Q3 2022, excavation is 75% complete. Once excavation is complete, work will begin on a renewable energy system for heating and cooling. The geothermal source will use a series of wells drilled into the ground beneath the Parliament Welcome Centre. Drilling to install geothermal piping & building of the main concrete structure for the Parliament Welcome Centre are expected in 2023. Construction manager has previously advertised for trades on Merx, information in regard to any further procurement opportunities are to be directed to the construction manager. Construction will continue through to 2031.
