Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in St. Albert, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
To prepare and submit a design-build package for the Servus Credit Union Place (Servus Place) Ammonia Project. The selected firm will be retained to: Carry out design services to provide detailed designs through consultation with Project Team. Work as the construction manager to coordinate and oversee construction. Provide close out services (i.e. maintenance manuals, record drawings) as required, for the continued operation and maintenance requirements of the facility. The winning firm will be responsible for the complete design and construction of the facility, including but not limited to: demolition, site security, all required detailed design/engineering and construction. A third-party consultant will be utilized to verify design prior to construction, verify construction throughout the project and FAC the project. The consultant will ensure that all required codes and standards as stated in the RFP are met. A certified in-service or other inspector may be utilized to confirm or verify work as required. A shut down is not permitted for this work. It is required that this work be completed in a live operating plant while the facility is open to the public. Safety is of utmost importance and is a strong factor in determining the successful proposal. *This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
