Work at one (1) site (Fountain Park Playground) in the City of St. Albert to remove and replace an existing playground as part of the City's playground lifecycle replacement program. Work includes, but is not limited to: Site and play space design of an accessible and inclusive play space (see RFP and Technical Specifications for more details) - desired area of ~400m2 or larger; Mobilization and demobilization (including temporary site fencing, signage, site safety, pedestrian accommodation, site restoration, etc.); Removal and disposal of existing playground (including equipment, edging, sand safety surfacing) - approximate area of existing playground is 607m2; Supply and installation of new playground (including equipment, edging, safety surfacing, playground drainage and connection to existing City storm drainage system); Removal and disposal of existing site furniture (including concrete pads); Supply and installation of new site furniture (including concrete pads); Supply and and installation of asphalt multi-use trail connections (from existing multi-use trails on east and west sides) - provisional; Maintenance during warranty period (as required).
