Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Pearland, Texas. Working plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Pearland is seeking qualified Construction Managers at Risk (CMAR) to provide construction manager at risk services in connection with the final design and to perform the construction of its 8.5 Million Gallon a Day (MGD) Barry Rose Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) and its 6.0 MGD John Hargrove Environmental Complex (JHEC) WRF. The estimated construction cost for the JHEC WRF is $60 million dollars. The project consists of the design and construction of an expansion from 3.1 MGD to 8.5 MGD at the Barry Rose WRF owned and operated by the City at 1902 Barry Rose Road, Pearland, TX 77851. This expansion is planned to utilize membrane bio-reactors as the primary treatment technology. The project also includes the decommissioning of the 2 MGD Longwood WRF owned and operated by the City located at 2727 Dixie Farm Road, Pearland, TX 77581. Other elements are the design and construction of a transfer lift station at the Longwood site and approximately 25,000 linear feet of forcemain to the Barry Rose WRF.
