The County may order changes in the work consisting of additions, deletions, or other revisions within the general scope ofthe awarded Contract. No claims may be made by the Contractor thatthe scope ofthe project or ofthe Contractor's services has been changed, requiring changes to the amount of compensation to the Contractor or other adjustments to the Contract, unless such changes or adjustments have been made by written amendment or change order to the Contract signed by the County Representative, County's Director of Purchasing and Contracts, and the Contractor. If the Contractor believes that any particular work is not within the Statement of Work of the Contract, is a material change, or will otherwise require more compensation to the Contractor, the Contractor must immediately notify the County's Representative in writing of this belief. If the County's Representative believes that the particular work is within the scope of the Contract as written, the Contractor will be ordered to and shall continue with the work as changed and at the cost stated for the work within the Statement of Work. The Contractor must assert its right to an adjustment under this clause within thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the written order. The work included in this Section consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials and in performing all operations necessary for the construction or installation of all process and utility piping, valves, valve boxes and all castings and appurtenances within, complete and ready for operation as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. This project timeline has been extended due to the public health crisis.
