As of November 18, 2020, this project has been awarded. All trades have been let. This project scope includes a 1,158 heated SF visitor center (new building) with a 3,500 SF roof. The program includes a multipurpose space, information area, mechanical and storage rooms, exterior access bathrooms, and a generous covered outdoor seating space. The building construction type is V-B and the Occupancy is A2. Add Alternates include: ADD ALT 01Sidewalk to replace existing gravel path connecting to the Promenade. ADD ALT 02 Power kiosk for food trucks and other outdoor events. ADD ALT 03Wood slat soffits and ceiling in lieu of stucco. ADD ALT 04Gravel ballast roof system. ADD ALT 05Tile on bathroom floors and ceilings. ADD ALT 06Automatic entry at door 01. OWNER-PREFERRED ALTERNATE 07 All doors to have BEST small format interchangeable cores to match existing NCMA locking systems. Bids will be received for Single Prime General Contracts. All proposals shall be lump sum Message to bidders: If you bid this project last year, not much is the same. The building has moved and the square footage was decreased. Addendum #1 has been issued.
