Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Lewiston, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Lewis-Clark State College student enrollment has grown within the Technical and Industrial Division which includes Diesel, Welding, Auto Mechanics, Collision Repair, and CNC Machining Technology. Students earn a degree with skills learned from professionally trained instructors in the T&l Division who have worked directly in the industry. Programs are structured to educate students with the skills expected for the job. The facility will be designed for student interaction with faculty within open study areas and team study rooms. Large shops simulating today's industry will be furnished with the latest technology and equipment. Classrooms, faculty offices, and storage areas will be included. As of July 8, 2019, a firm construction timeline has not been determined but is anticipated to begin soon.
