Black & Veatch and Overland Contracting (a subsidiary of Black & Veatch), as the Program Manager and Construction Manager for the Sewer Assessment and Rehabilitation Program (SARP10) on behalf of the City of Memphis, is soliciting Request for Bid (RFB) The Scope of Work for this bid generally consists of installing cured in place pipe (CIPP) on approximately 54,000 linear feet of 8"-36" diameter sewer mains, performing approximately 180 point repairs as both stand-alone and in preparation for CIPP, rehabilitating 230 manholes, and installing 9 new manholes on terminal sewer segments in the Priority Rehab Area outlined in the Consent Decree. The project will involve work in both improved and unimproved areas primarily on residential streets. Another contractor will be performing a separate rehabilitation contract in the same area while this contract is being completed so coordination between the two will be necessary. Other related work includes bypass pumping, restoring the disturbed area including repaving, and providing traffic control where applicable. The allotted time for construction is 365 calendar days. Firms not already prequalified for construction activity with SARP10 and Firms that prequalified more than one year ago, must submit the following registration information as soon as possible; but no later than April 4, 2019. SARP10 registration is valid for one year from the date of approval and will apply for all related construction contracts, under the SARP10 Program. If the Firm has prequalified with SARP10 in the past year, the Firm is not obligated to reapply.
