Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Huntington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Construction was completed in 2020. A full description of the Project is found in the Summary Section 01 10 00 of the Project Manual. As actual damages for delay in completion of the Work are impossible to determine, the successful Bidder (Contractor) and his Surety shall be liable for and shall pay to the Owner an amount calculated per the Supplementary Conditions of the Contract, not as a penalty, but as fixed, agreed and liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay until the Contract Work is substantially completed as defined in the General and Supplementary Conditions of the Contract for Construction. Submit offer on the Bid Form provided. Bidders will be required to submit offer under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise.
