A Dayton-area performing arts center aims to boost its facility with a $4 million renovation and upgrade project. Clark State Community College is seeking new funds to renovate its performing arts center complex, which houses the Clark State Performing Arts Center and the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center. This renovation project was revealed in an application submitted through the Dayton Region Priority Development and Advocacy Committee, an initiative led by the Dayton Development Coalition. Renovations include upgrades to the center's sound, security and safety systems, along with the replacement of theatrical lighting fixtures. The conference center is also due for a replacement and rewiring of its projection system. In addition to internal renovation, a covered walkway is aiming to be created between the conference center and the performing arts center to ensure ADA compliance for seating.
