Bridge preservation repairs to a 11-span mixed adjacent spread box beam bridge carrying State Route 309 (North Cross Valley Expressway) over State Route 2022, Mill Creek and Norfolk Southern Railway in the City of WilkesBarre, Luzerne County. Superstructure repairs will consist of scarifying of the existing concrete deck, performing Type 3 deck repairs and placing 1 Polyester Polymer Concrete overlay, replacing existing neoprene strip seal gland and sealing open joints in parapets. Substructure repairs include concrete repairs to the abutments and piers. Maintenance and Protection of Traffic will be 2 phase construction maintaining 2 lanes of traffic at all times. Approach roadway will be milled and paved.
