The location of the project is as follows: From a point approximately 0.07 miles from the Wyoming County Line at Segment 0010 Offset 0000 along SR 4036 (Falls Road), Newton Township, Lackawanna County to a point near the intersection with SR 4027 (Airport Drive) at Segment 0060 Offset 0000 along SR 4036 (Falls Road), Newton Township, Lackawanna County, with a total work area length of 352.00 feet (0.067 miles). The SR 4036 Sec D50 culvert replacement project includes the removal of the existing corrugated metal pipe culvert that carries SR 4036 (Falls Road) over the Unnamed Tributary to Falls Creek and replacing it with a precast reinforced concrete box culvert with precast wingwalls at the upstream and downstream ends. Other work includes excavation, full depth bituminous paving bridge approaches, new guiderail, drainage, E & S control measures, detour signing, driveway adjustment, permanent signing, pavement markings, landscaping and other miscellaneous construction work.
