As of May 18, 2022, the project was awarded to Pact One, LLC. The anticipated construction start date is on June 6, 2022. No Bids will be accepted if submitted at any other location. The project consists of the construction of approximately 4,341 linear feet of 15 inch diameter PVC gravity sewer main (variable depth), Iincluding 18 manholes, and 6,175 S.Y. of 1 ^ inch milling and 1 ^ inch superpave wearing course overlay. Bidders must obtain documents through Atlas Technical at the above listed address in order to be considered a responsive Bidder. Either a Certified Check or a Bid Bond drawn to the order of South Abington Township in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid as bid security. Successful Bidder should be expected to execute and file the proposed contract and to furnish and pay for performance, payment, and other bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price as security for the performance and payment of all costs thereof within ten (10) days after the issuance of the intent to award of the contract. All Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS, Paragraph 14 BID SUBMISSION. South Abington Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids submitted; and also reserves the right to waive any informality in Bids received, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible, qualified Bidder. The Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this project. Except as otherwise provided by law, no Bidder may withdraw his Bid within sixty (60) consecutive days after the actual date of opening thereof, or one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days if the award is delayed by a required approval of another governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of grant or grants.
