Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Shiprock, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 25,529-square-foot fire / police facility.

To construct and equip the South Shiprock Fire/EMT Command Center for emergency medical capability to the south side of the river. The construction of the facility including HVAC, and equip the building with storage lockers, specialized firefighting, rescue and medical apparatus, office furniture for the office. The building will be 25,529 sq. ft. "40' X 80' apparatus bays (4) with pre-engineered metal building with a cultured stone/EIFS finish on exposed exterior areas. The Shiprock chapter will work with San Juan County, Navajo Nation Public Safety, and Various Navajo Nation Emergency Departments. The Shiprock will have a MOU with San Juan County the Navajo Nation Departments which are involve for operate and maintain. San Juan County will be the fiscal agent. Project is included in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of January 27, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
