Plan, design, and construct turn off lanes on Navajo Routes 57. The project will be completed in 2 phases. Phase 1 includes planning/design of a safety study of 12' accelerating and 12' deceleration lanes on Navajo Routes 57, street lighting, drainage and future construction on Navajo Route 57; Phase 2 is construction. The project is located within the by Bureau of Indian Affairs / Navajo Division of Transportation ROW and will not require any additional archaeological and environmental studies. The road will be own and maintained by Bureau of Indian Affairs / Navajo Division of Transportation. The Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent for the project. As of January 25, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
