Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Gallup, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 11,200-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility.

To plan, design, construct and furnish a new warehouse will house the Chapter Motor Grader, Backhoe, tractor and one ton Truck that will house heavy equipment and surplus supplies for community use and needs. The land has been acquired, archaeological and environmental studies have been completed. This project will be implemented in phases. Phase I, is the plan and design will take up to six months. Phase II, is the construction will take up to 12 months. The Warehouse Barn will house the Chapter's Motor Grader, Backhoe and one ton Truck. It will also be used to house hay, wood, etc. The building will be 100' X 112' ft pre-fabricated metal building with a supply/part room and a maintenance office. The equipment and furnishings will include: desks, chairs, easel/white board, cabinets, and shelving. Chapter will follow Navajo Nation and State of New Mexico procurement laws. The purchase will bid out to vendors and then a vendor will be selected to purchase the equipment and furnishings. Bahastl'ah (Twin Lakes) Chapter will own, operated and maintain the warehouse, the Navajo Nation will be the fiscal agent. As of January 28, 2022, this project is currently in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration's FY 2023-2027 CIP.
