This Project Consists of Approximately 4.4 Miles of Pavement Preservation, Bridge Preservation, and Safety Enhancements to the Existing 4-lane Facility in Summit Township, Somerset County. A Small Portion of 2-lane Roadway, Approximately 2,900 Feet in Length, Will Be Milled and Overlayed. In Addition to the Mounds, High Tension Cable Barrier Will Be Placed in the Median Areas, and All Existing Guide Rail Will Be Redesigned and Replaced With Type 31-s Guide Rail and Associated End Treatments. Five Sets of Dual Mainline Structures Will Be Preserved Using an Epoxy Overlay on the Decks. Associated Work Around the Structures Will Include Pavement Relief Joint Repair, Shoulder Repair, and Erosion Repair Around the Wingwalls. Drainage Work Includes Cleaning Existing Ditches and Replacing Rock, Flushing Inlets, and Replacing Grate and Top Unit on Select Inlets. All Work to Be Completed as Indicated on the Approved Drawings Included in the Bid Package for State Route 0219, Section 003, in Somerset County, Summit Township at the Locations Indicated on the Plans in the Bid Package.
