Site work and paving for a civil project in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
This project is for rock slopes improvements on SR 0219 and the pavement preservation on SR 0601 in Somerset County. Work on SR 0219 will include geotechnical remediation along rock slopes and upgrade existing guiderail to MASH compliance at three different locations along SR 0219. Work also includes milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, pavement markings, driveway improvements, sanitary sewer relocation and other miscellaneous construction. The SR 0601 portion of the project is for the pavement preservation of approximately 1.22 miles of SR 0601 in Somerset County. Work includes milling and resurfacing, guiderail, drainage, pavement markings, signing upgrades and other miscellaneous construction as indicated on the approved drawings included in the bid package for STATE ROUTE 0219, SECTION 035, in SOMERSET COUNTY, ELK LICK, SOMERSET & LINCOLN TOWNSHIPS at the locations indicated in the bid package.
